Generation of Lies

For God is Spirit
And they who worship Him
Must worship in spirit and in truth
(See John 4:24)

Simply put, you can’t worship the Lord
Without a connection with your spirit;
Neither can you worship Him in insincerity…

How we think that we can is just plain dumb, really…
Worshipping the Almighty God is not based on anyone’s efforts.
He knows the heart, alright?!
He knows whether or not we are sincere
He knows what the real deal is
He knows when you speak the church lingo
And the thoughts of your heart are anything but…
He knows also when in your heart you want to be right
And perhaps sometimes you don’t know how
He can teach you how
He can show you how, if you let Him.
Just ask. Right now! Ask.

So what does it mean to worship God in spirit and in truth?
Ha! Good question…

We cannot serve the Living God without the help of the Holy Spirit
The bible shows us that He teaches us to pray, to love ourselves, to love our fellowman, to have faith, to hope, to produce good fruit,
He teaches us all things functionally, to be sons of God.
(See John 14:17, John 16:13, 1 Peter 1:22, 1 John 4:6)

The Holy Spirit teaches us the Truth
I’ll have you know there is only one truth and His Name is Jesus Christ
There is only one standard where the truth is concerned – God’s
There is no truth according to philosophy’s universals and particulars (jargon really)
The Holy Ghost teaches us the Truth…One Truth…One Standard.
(This is found only in Him who is true and cannot lie)
The Truth is revealed by the Holy Ghost – hence revelation.
This revelation is imparted into the spirit man.
That is how we know the truth – from the Holy Spirit
The truth according to God Almighty is the only truth worth taking note of, worth listening to at all.
Anything else is a lie and that is the truth!

That should help you decipher what really comes from Satan
And what the lie is….
That we are a lost generation?
That we no longer have true worshippers in the church?
That people no longer hear from God?
That God no longer speaks?
That we have no prophets in this generation?
That we are doomed to an end of eternal death & destruction?
That violence, hatred for one another, seeking to destroy one another, ripping and tearing apart, robbing, murdering, unforgiveness, bitterness, sexual perversions, rebellion against God, and an outright impudence/disrespect where the Law of God is concerned, are the things that should rule the day and be the norm even in the church?
Wow! the nerve of it all….

In spirit and in truth
The Holy Spirit gives revelation of truth.
Where He does not dwell, there will be no revelation…
That is why there are a lot of lies around, spreading worse than germs.
Because people do not give to God the worship, the regard, the respect He more than deserves.
Because people are not teachable, refusing to be taught, by the Holy Spirit who Himself is the Greatest Teacher.
Because people will rather be fed these lies than receive that, only that which will never pass away.

In spirit and in truth…God seeks such worshippers
God seeks a generation whose desire is to see Him in His Beauty & Glory
Not a generation of lies
But a generation after His Heart
Seeking Him not for what He can give, not the blessings, not the houses, the cars, or da moneez
But for His Beauty and His Glory, For who He is.

Enough of exploiting the church.
Enough of thinking you can outsmart God by getting blessed and not living right.
I have as suggestion...
If all you go to church for is to glean and reap where you haven’t sown, to use the people of God and play the system to your advantage, only, not to seek the Voice of the Lord, to hear what He is saying to the Church for these times, please, please, please, do yourself a favour and stay @ home. Don’t even bother getting out of bed.
You ask why?
Because the angels will record against you that you went to church on those precise days, and that you have nothing to show for it; that your life is still the same empty shell it has been for who knows how long?
You get the point?

What has the Lord said to you about your life?
What has He told you to do?
What are you doing about it?
Is it on hold because you want to live your own life first?
Don’t bother justifying these things...
Trust me, the Lord knows what your heart really is.

I’ll stop here.
